Im Sophie and welcome to Hooked By Sophie. I am a mum of two beautiful children, a wife and Yorkshire lass. I love all things crafty but especially crochet! why crochet you ask?? well......

2 Years ago by best friend was having a baby! (she had the cutest baby) and I was looking for something that I could buy her that would feel special, something that I would be proud to give her. I was with my husbands grandma at the time and she was crocheting. Out of no where as if she read my mind she said "would you like me to teach you?" and I am so thankful she did that. Not only did I make a blanket for my friend (the easiest blanket to make ever!) but I found something that made me completely relax, also Grandma said I was a 'natural' and that NEVER happens. 

Crocheting helps me in so many ways, I can relax and just take some time for me and I get to give my friends one of a kind gifts.
